Functions of the Church Consistory

1. They will coordinate the development and implementation of strategic plans and visioning.

2. They will oversee the administrative functions of the church, including personnel, audits, endowments, property maintenance, and the management of church archives. 

3. They will provide advice and assistance for all areas of worship, including worship services, communion planning, baptism, Sunday school, supplies, weddings, and memorial services.

4. They will direct and oversee all outreach ministries locally, nationally, and internationally.

5. They will help design programs to encourage faith development, including overseeing the Sunday school program, the profession of faith process, adult education, etc.

6. They will provide effective instruction, nurture, fellowship, growth, and outreach programs for the youth of the church and the community. 

7. They will create an understanding, caring, supportive fellowship where people share their needs, discover and use their God-given talents, and are enabled to feel a part of a growing Christian community. This includes member engagement and organizing intergenerational social events.
